Thank you LAWMSF!A Letter Of Thanks from Ashley Smith, BFA Fairfax:
Dear Lee A. Walker Memorial Members, I, Ashley Rae Smith just wanted to send a letter to thank you all for the time and effort you put into reading my letter(s) and accepting me to represent such an amazing scholarship. I am very proud and excited to represent this scholarship on Lee's behalf. I am very honored and pleased to also represent it for you guys. I hope to make you all very proud and would like to say thanks for helping me out with college and allowing the financial piece not to hold me back from reaching for the stars and making my dreams come true. I plan to do much with this career I have chosen and hope to make you all proud as a recipient of this scholarship. I am beyond proud and was so honored to get up there on my "Class Day" and receive this award. Never in my wildest dreams did I think you all would allow me to represent such an important thing to so many of you! I love helping others and plan to continue that all through the summer and through life. I will always go the extra step to help someone in need or just because I want to and feel I should help, I will. I will strive to be successful and make my dreams, as well as so many others dreams come true. If there are any other things your organization would like me to be a part of please let me know and I'd gladly help! Thank you all again, to the friends, the family, and the scholarship staff of Lee A. Walker for allowing me to be a recipient in 2012! Forever in my heart I will cherish the moment and scholarship forever. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Keep in touch and let me know if there are any activities I can participate in; it would be my pleasure. Sincerely, Ashley Rae Smith |
